What would you bring?

A demonstration, a hands-on activity, screenings, a giveaway, information — whatever you would set up. One thing a family can actually do lands far better than a table of brochures.

We can offer Spanish-speaking staff or bilingual materials. We plan to sell food or merchandise. You will need your own permit — see “Good to know” below.

Your space

Roughly 10 x 10 feet, free of charge to agencies and nonprofits, whether or not you sponsor. Thirty spaces in total, assigned in the order accepted.

You bring

Your own canopy, table and chairs. We provide water all day. The park is ADA accessible with restrooms on site.

Permits

The Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce holds the event permits and carries the liability insurance — $1M per occurrence, $2M aggregate. You need no separate permit or policy. Certificates are available on request.

Selling

Only if you are selling something. Food needs an Orange County Health Care Agency permit, (714) 433-6141; merchandise needs a seller’s permit or business licence. Not selling means nothing further to do.

Power

Available but limited, and the City charges a small fee per event. Say so above and we will sort it with you.

The day

Load-in and check-in 8:00–9:30 a.m., then vehicles move to exhibitor parking. Doors 10:00, close 3:00 — we ask that nobody breaks down early.

What we send

A confirmation by email, then setup instructions and the site map on 20 October.

Your visitors

Every family carries a passport card and collects a stamp at each booth, and trained student ambassadors walk them round and introduce your organization in their own words.
